History of Joy In A Box
When we first started designing Joy in a Box, we thought about having a set of twelve different affirmations on cards with the same design on the back of each card. A Rainbow! It has the same colours as the chakras! Perfect. It took some time to get what we thought was the best rainbow for the back of the cards. Here is a gallery of the rainbow design transition! It was all fun and interesting! The rainbow was originally the picture that would appear on the back of all our children's affirmation card packs.
The original Joy in a Box was handmade and printed by Teresa and Claire. They were then encapsulated. After producing our first prototype box, we changed our idea slightly by putting sixteen affirmations in the box by having one on each side of a card.
